Grant Applications
By submitting information to this Site, you agree to these Terms and the Grant award decisions of Great-West, which shall be final and binding in all respects.  All Grant Application submissions (the “Submission”) are deemed and shall remain the property of Great-West or its assigns and will not be acknowledged or returned. You hereby grant Great-West, its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, legal representatives and / or assigns the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to edit, distribute, reproduce, have distributed, publically and privately display, communicate, transmit, have transmitted and promote the Submission, excluding your phone number, cell phone number, email and physical address, (as may be edited and modified by Great-West in its discretion) for editorial, commercial, promotional and other purposes in any way Great-West sees fit. Great-West shall not be subject to any obligations of confidentiality, except as stated herein, in our privacy policies or as required by law.

You further understand and agree that any Grant funds received is adequate and complete consideration to convey full and perpetual license of the intellectual property associated with the Submission and its underlying data as submitted, and Great-West will retain all other rights of title in the Submission, development and future licensing or other disposal of said Submission and enhancements and updates thereto, including its presentation format.  Acceptance of any Grant funds constitutes permission to use your name, likeness and photographs and Submission or a brief description of the Submission, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.  Winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability / Publicity Release (where applicable).

Great-West reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper, with the entry process or the operation of the Grant; violates the rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.  Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the operation of the Grant may be in violation of civil or criminal law, and, should such an attempt be made, Great-West reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by Great-West to enforce any such term of the rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any provision.  Great-West, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of its officers, directors, agents, employees and assigns shall have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Grant or any funds awarded.  Grant recipients and applicants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this Grant program.  

By submitting a Grant Application you understand and agree that this is not a contract of sale.  You further understand that you neither obtain nor maintain any rights under Section 109 of the Copyright Act of 1976 with respect to the Submission or its underlying data.
