To get started, simply access our Great-West Career Connection by selecting Job Openings from the navigation bar at left. Career Connection allows you to search and view current openings, build your career profile/resume, refer other applicants, and more.

Tips for Applying

Search for Positions
By using combinations of keywords, job categories, and locations, you can search for positions that match your interests, or you may view all open positions. When you search using keywords, the job description, job title, and job category fields are scanned for matches.

Create Search Agents
By saving keywords, job categories, and locations, you can create up to three custom search agents. To create an agent, select your parameters and run the search. Below the “Job Listings” window where the search results are displayed, you can name and save your search criteria. You will then receive e-mail notifications when relevant positions are posted on the Great-West Career Connection site.

Build Your Career Profile
Your career profile allows you to maintain your resume and other application information in our private talent database to quickly apply for openings without re-entering your information each time. As a returning visitor, you can log in and review your application history (for positions applied to after
Dec. 9, 2004).

If you don’t find an open position that matches your interests, you may submit your resume for general consideration on the Career Connection welcome page. This adds your information to our private talent database, enabling Great-West recruiters to search and find your resume when an opportunity arises and saving you time when you return to apply for openings.

Refer Friends & Family
You can refer a friend or family member by finding a position of interest, clicking on the job title to view the job detail, then scrolling to the bottom of the page to select the “Refer a candidate to this job” icon. You’ll need your friend or family member’s contact information.

After You Apply
Great-West recruiters will review your information and contact you by telephone if you are selected for an interview. Due to the volume of applications we receive, we cannot personally call each candidate. However, for each position that you’ve applied to via Career Connection, you will receive an e-mail update when there is a change in position status (e.g., filled, on hold, canceled).

Please note that the submission of any misleading, false, or incorrect statements or omissions in connection with any application for employment, including any resume or other attachments to an application, may result in the withdrawal of any offer of employment or termination of employment, regardless of when discovered.
