Health, Dental, and Vision Coverage

Medical coverage begins on the date of hire, with a choice of a consumer-driven plan or PPO-type plan. The medical plan premium also includes dental and vision coverage.

Flexible Benefit Accounts

Great-West Financial offers flexible benefit accounts that allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for anticipated out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses.

Retirement Savings

Our 401(k) plan allows employees to set aside pre-tax money for retirement, which includes immediate vesting of company-matched funds and a wide choice of investment options.

Paid Time Off

New employees begin to accrue paid time off immediately upon hire. We also offer eight paid holidays each calendar year, plus two floating holidays.

Volunteer and Financial Match Programs

At Great-West Financial, we offer financial support to an array of charitable organizations—and we encourage our employees to do the same. Through Great-West Financial’s Employee Matching Programs, we match employees’ charitable contributions, the time they volunteer, and the funds they raise for eligible organizations based on program guidelines.

Life Insurance

We provide basic life insurance coverage at no cost to employees. Additional low-cost life insurance is available for employees and their families, as well as low-cost, optional accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

Basic long-term disability (LTD) coverage is provided at no cost to employees. Supplemental LTD coverage can be purchased on a pre-tax basis.

Additional Great-West Financial Employee Benefits

We offer flexible work hours and a business-casual environment in many departments. We provide all employees with tuition reimbursement, an Employee Assistance Program, and credit union membership. Pre-tax commuter benefits and free parking are offered at many sites, and our larger locations have on-site cafeterias. In addition, Great-West Financial’s metro Denver headquarters features an on-site free fitness center, health and wellness center, convenience store, dry cleaners, and bank, and it’s within walking distance to Denver’s light rail.
